Join us on Saturday, October 7 as we celebrate the harmonious marriage of history, culture, and music. Five churches, six organs, one fantastic morning, continuing a long tradition of hearing and celebrating Nantucket’s pipe organs. Stroll from church to church on Nantucket’s historic streets to hear music played on an organ but composed for something else entirely. NCMC invites you to attend all six performances or drop in and drop out as your schedule permits.
This year’s theme promises to surprise and delight audiences by showcasing the versatility of Nantucket’s historic pipe organs. These remarkable instruments, often associated with classical and sacred music, will be used to perform an eclectic range of musical genres, from classical masterpieces to contemporary hits.
