Family Sailors' Valentines Workshop

A great time for you and your child to learn and create together! Join the curator of the Mitchell House and create your own version of a sailors’ valentine by decorating a small Shaker-style box or picture frame – something to be enjoyed for years to come. We provide all of the supplies – you bring your imagination and creativity! Adult must remain with child for entire program.

This program is designed for a parent/grandparent/guardian and a child aged 5 or older. 

The program will meet in the courtyard of the MMA campus on Vestal St. There is street parking available throughout the surrounding neighborhood. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be cancelled and participants will be notified.
