Here Comes The Sun

Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is delighted to announce the opening of the Here Comes the Sun exhibition in the Big Gallery. The doors will unlock on Friday, April 21 and the exhibition will be on display through Saturday, May 20. Located on the second floor of the Thomas Macy Warehouse at 12 Straight Wharf, the building was home to AAN’s Kenneth Taylor Galleries from 1945 to 1988.

“This first artist members exhibition will focus on larger landscapes, seascapes and everything Nantucket,” said AAN artistic director and curator Robert Frazier. With its lofty ceilings and extra-long windows, the Big Gallery lends itself beautifully to showcasing larger works, which our artist members do not have the opportunity to display in the Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson gallery,” added Frazier.

The Big Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
