Nantucket Dance Festival 2023

The 2023 annual Dance Festival (July 6 to July 8) will serve as part of Nantucket Dance Theater’s annual programming, with money raised directly supporting dance on the Island year round.

Diverse programming that features many styles of dance will offer performance opportunities for professionals and dance students while creating unexpected collaborations with musicians and visual artists. Educational workshops and classes for dancers, dance lovers and the dance curious will expand how dance is integrated into the community. Featuring a mix of genres from ballet to tap to street dance, this year’s festival will offer an expansive view of different expressions of the art form, providing the audience with insight into the different ways emotions can be expressed through movement.
