Photography and Narrative with Sherre Wilson Liljegren

Learn to craft a series of photographs with artist Sherre Wilson Liljegren. Sherre will share her recent intensive photography studies at Maine Media Workshops and College to help students create a cohesive group of compelling digital photographs. Sherre will discuss how she collects images and uses editing tools to evolve her ideas, exploring narratives that relate to each other by evoking a sense of time and place. What connections can you make? What history is unearthed and what memories are revealed? Tuesday and Wednesday evenings will be spent in the studio
with group discussion, supportive critique, and individual instruction. Weather permitting, all or part of Thursday evening will be spent photographing in the field, as you work with Sherre to thoughtfully experience how your ideas emerge and progress.
