Youth Vocal Program: YOUTH CHORUS (9+)

YOUTH CHOIR
w/ Dr. Greta Feeney

Young singers 9+ learn the joy of singing and performing classical, folk and traditional songs. Good practice habits and basic music skills are taught in a supportive, inclusive environment. Emphasis is placed on disciplined behavior and respect for self and others. Singing exercises develop strong, healthy voices leading to repertoire that inspires hearts and cultivates aesthetic awareness. Unison singing forms the basis of curriculum, with the aim of singing in rounds and 2-part harmony. Excellent attendance is mandatory. At-home practice is required. Class culminates in a public performance. An individual placement interview is required.
