Egan Maritime Institute
Egan Maritime Institute provides education and outreach programs created to inspire the appreciation and preservation of Nantucket’s maritime culture and seafaring legacy. Programs include Sea of Opportunities, for Nantucket students, as well as the Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum, which is open to the public seasonally and houses over 5,000 artifacts.
