The Nantucket Lobster Trap was originally opened by our grandfather Ernie. Back then, it was DryShoal Cleaners, a laundromat. In the mid 1970’s our father Larry, along with Ernie, ran it as a commercial food distribution center know as The Commissary. By the late 70’s it had evolved it into our beloved Lobster Trap.

We are a small family owned & operated seasonal restaurant open from May through October serving a variety of fresh New England style seafoods specializing in North Atlantic Lobsters ranging from 1 to 5 pounds! .
We appreciate a casual family atmosphere where you can come enjoy great seafood prepared simply, good drink and fine company.
