Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is pleased to announce the event dates and locations for the 2022 Wet Paint Weekend. Running Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 7- 9, Wet Paint Weekend offers many opportunities for the island community to meet AAN artists, see them at their easels, and participate in an auction of their works.

Wet Paint Weekend 2022 will kick off with the Wet Paint Welcome Party on Friday, October 7 from 5 – 7 P.M. Visitors are invited to meet AAN members over cocktails at AAN’s Big Gallery, 12 Straight Wharf. Bidding will begin that evening and continue through the end of the auction on Sunday.

On Saturday, October 8, the Wet Paint Art Hop will have maps detailing where artist members will be painting en plein air downtown. Maps to find painting locations will be available at the Coffee and Doughnuts event held in the Big Gallery, 12 Straight Wharf on Saturday morning, 9 – 11 A.M.

The Wet Paint Weekend culminates on Sunday, October 9 with a Live Auction, featuring the fresh new works. There will also be a silent auction to view and bid. This year’s auction has been moved back to the Nantucket Yacht Club, 1 South Beach St.
