The symposium will be a community forum to explore the latest international and domestic efforts to address the impacts of climate change on cultural heritage and historic materials.
The NHA, in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS) and the Rome-based International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, will host a symposium at the NHA’s Whaling Museum on December 8, which will be open to the public and free of charge, as well as live-streamed on Zoom.
