This year the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 47th annual Nantucket Daffodil Festival. The weekend will include the Daffodil Antique Car Parade followed by a Tailgate picnic in 'Sconset, the Children's Bike Parade, Daffy Hat Parade, the Daffodil Dog Parade, and more.

On Thursday, April 27th the Flower Crown Party will commence at Dreamland Theater Harborview Room at 5:30 pm.

On Friday, April 28th, Nantucket Historical Association's Flower Power Party will take place at NHA's Whaling Museum. This includes hors d'oeuvres, festive libations, a photo booth, and a prize for the best 'blooming' outfit.

Saturday, April 29th will kick off with the 47th Annual Antique Car Parade, beginning at 9:30 am and will go till 3 pm on Main Street followed by the Tailgate Picnic in Siasconset Village. The Children’s Bike Parade starts at 10:30 am at the Children’s Beach Bandstand, Harborview Way. The rest of the day will consist of the Nantucket Daffodil Festival Children's Beach events; the Hat Pageant (fun for Men, Women, or Children to showcase their elegant or goofy Daffodil-themed hats), visiting with Barnaby Bear (meet Barnaby Bear to get surprise giveaways), NanPuppets performing, and the day will end with the 10th Annual Daffy Dog Parade.

The weekend will conclude on Sunday, April 30th with the Daffodil Festival Bazaar on the Tavern Patio.
