The Town’s Department of Culture & Tourism, through a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, has been leading a collaboration of cultural institutions in honoring the traditions of Juneteenth. Residents and Visitors are invited to join us across the island for our 2023 Juneteenth Celebration.

· 12:30-2:30pm – Juneteenth Community Gathering at the African Meeting House at 29 York Street. Come meet the new President and CEO of the Museum of African American History and learn more about the significance of Juneteenth.
