The historic 1809 Unitarian Meeting House is the perfect location for Nantucket weddings of all sizes. The building’s gold dome, one of the island‘s most recognizable landmarks, beckons wedding parties as they arrive by ferry or plane, setting the stage for a special occasion always to be remembered. It is also the perfect location for any event from large scale functions to intimate gatherings. Our building is a staple of Nantucket history and an unmistakable icon on the Nantucket skyline. We offer three distinct spaces perfect for lectures, concerts, meetings, and more.
Hendrix Hall—seats up to 160 people, heated/air conditioned, small stage & podium great for lectures or performances, audio/visual equipment available for presentations & films, piano available upon request
Historic 1809 Sanctuary—beautiful natural lighting, seats up to 450 people, piano & organ available upon request, small stage & podium
Activities Room—perfect for a small group meeting, social clubs and dinners. Newly installed laminate flooring, fresh paint, access to kitchen upon request, moveable furniture for a more open space layout
