Birding on Folger’s Marsh

Join us at the Shipwreck and Lifesaving Museum, on the edge of Nantucket Conservation Foundation’s Folger’s Marsh, with a wildlife expert from the Linda Loring Nature Foundation to guide you through observation of the area’s abundant bird life.

Join us at the Nantucket Shipwreck and Lifesaving Museum, on the edge of Nantucket Conservation Foundation's Folger’s Marsh, with a wildlife expert from the Linda Loring Nature Foundation to guide you through observation of the abundant bird life in this unique ecosystem. Participants will also learn about the interconnectedness of birds, ecosystems, and maritime history.

Equipment is provided if needed. Free for all, 20 people total, register online.

PARKING INFO

When the Museum is open, there is a FREE Shipwreck Shuttle from Nantucket Visitors Services located in downtown Nantucket at 25 Federal Street to the Museum at 158 Polpis Road. The museum may also be reached easily by car, The Wave Shuttle/Polpis Route or via the Polpis Bike Path. We are just 3.5 miles from Nantucket Town.
